My favorite quote from Messenger is "Your true name is Healer," This woulde is located on page 169. This was my favorite quite because it is very emotional. This scene is where Matty gets his true name. Not only was it emotional, but I think that Healer is very appropriate name for Matty. I like this qoute because not only is it touching and a nice way to end the book, but the ending also makes sense.
My favorite quote is “He wept, and it felt as if the tears were cleansing him, as if his body needed to empty itself.” ― Lois Lowry This quotes tells of the healing that Matty had done to cleanse Village and Forest while cleansing himself. This foreshadowed what Matty's title would be in the Village.

think the ending was peaceful. Matt died. It wasn't
