Discuss one lesson that you learned over the summer...

  1. A lesson I learned this summer is that nothing is permanent. Four of my friends moved away this summer, one after another. All of us were friends from kindergarten, so it was really sad. Anyway, we do keep in touch through phone and FaceTime but, it isn't the same. Still, I wish them good luck in their new schools. This is when I learned that nothing is permanent in life, changes happen but it's okay . Life goes on and I also got some new friends,so that's a plus right?

  2. A lesson I learned this summer is that, never be afraid of doing something that you are scared of. It might even be fun. This summer I went to six flags and I was extremely scared of going up and down king nka, and as soon as the cart left the station I knew that there was no turning back. But, at the end it was not scary it was fun. that is a lesson I learned this summer.

  3. A lesson I learned is that always try new things. This summer, I had gone to India. In India, the foods are mostly spicy. When I had gone to the restaurant,I thought the food would be very spicy, and I wouldn't like it.But when I tried it,it was very yummy, and I really liked that food. Another time in India was when I was riding on the back of a camel. I had never ever sat on a camel. I thought if it would go crazy, or it would make me fall. But when I sat on it, I had a great experience. It walked slowly, but to me, it was a fun but bumpy ride. If you never try something new, then life will be dull, and nothing exciting will happen.

  4. A lesson I learned was that to never be afraid to try something different. This summer, I was a little sad because I wasn't going to be able to see my friends from my old school because I was moving. Then, when I went to my new school, I realized that I knew a couple of other people from that school from G&T, so it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I also realized that I could always keep in touch with my friends no matter what.

  6. A lesson I learned over the summer is that hard work pays off. I worked really hard at soccer doing conditioning drills and although they were deadly, it definitely helped my speed and agility. I also did 2 weeks of karate camp and that allowed me to be promoted to brown belt quicker because I perfected the techniques.
